During your procedure, a Summit anesthesia provider will attend you. The provider’s primary purpose is to assure your safety and comfort during your procedure by monitoring your vital signs and administering medications.
Summit is a participating provider with Medicare and most major insurance carriers. Claims will automatically be filed on your behalf and the facility will obtain authorization in advance of your procedure. While irrespective of your insurer, you are financially responsible for the services provided. Generally, Medicare patients are responsible for the 20%, not paid by Medicare, if they do not have a secondary policy and the annual deductible has been met. Commercial and managed care plan patients are responsible for co-pays, deductibles and non-covered services.
If you have any questions regarding the billing of services prior to a procedure, please contact our corporate office at 800-282-2762.
We will be happy to accept credit card payments for any amounts not paid by your insurance carrier.
